It’s nice to meet you.
Here’s some basic info about me.
- Right now, I produce the daily NPR Politics Podcast, and I’m based in Washington, D.C. I’ve had work featured across NPR‘s programs, as well as on the BBC World Service & BBC Radio 4, the CBC, RTÉ, and elsewhere.
- I’ve won the SPJ’s prestigious Sigma Delta Chi Award1 and multiple regional RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards2 for my work, alongside other industry accolades.3
- Before I came to NPR, I was the coordinating producer and newscast anchor at Nevada Public Radio in Las Vegas, where I worked on the station’s daily newsmagazine State of Nevada.
- Before that, I was executive producer of Global Journalist, a weekly public television and radio program based in Columbia, Mo., that looked at free press issues and international affairs.
- Otherwise, I earned a couple of degrees,4 am an avid soccer fan, and I’m always in search of the perfect affogato.5
